Kinky Curly Curling Custard Natural Hair Care

As a black woman taking care of your hair can be a time consuming nightmare.  There is no end of expensive hair products you can buy that claim to give your hair that natural curl.

I personally have spent hundreds of dollars trying to find the perfect product for my hair. I’ve purchased creams, gels and ointments of all sorts with varying degrees of success in my attempts to go natural.

Thankfully, I have finally found a product that really works well for me. Kinky Curly Curling Custard does an excellent job of freezing my curl pattern after I wash my hair.  I cannot over exaggerate how thrilled I am with this product, after spending so much time and money searching for a black hair product that actually works!

Unfortunately, Kinky Curly products can be hard to find. I have found only two sources for Kinky Curly Curling Custard; one brick and mortar store and one online retailer.

The first seller is one Target store about an hour from my home – Target carries this line of products but only in select stores.  In my area only one of many Targets caters to an African American clientele by stocking Kinky Curly, and when they get in a shipment it tends to sell out fast.

The online provider I sometimes use is www.curlmart.com.  They offer free shipping with a large purchase but have similar prices to Target.  If you cannot find Kinky Curly Curling Custard locally they are a good alternative.

At seventeen dollars for 8 ounces, or thirty dollars for 16 ounces, Curling Custard is a little pricey for black hair product. However if you have done much buying of this type of item you will know that it is usually best to avoid low priced hair styling product – when you buy cheap junk, your hair pays the price.

If you struggle as an African-American woman to find a quality styling product that is reasonably priced, you should give Kinky Curly Curling Custard a chance.  While everyone’s hair is different, for my particular hair this is one of the best natural styling gels available.
